Kelsea Watson to Join ATLIS as Membership and PD Manager

The Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS), the only professional association for independent school technology directors, announced that Kelsea Watson will join its team later this month as membership and professional development manager.

Kelsea WatsonWatson has extensive experience in the non-profit and association sectors, having supported a variety of programs for both global and local organizations. As part of the ATLIS team, she will serve the association’s growing membership and the broader independent school community with membership and professional development resources.

“We are fortunate to bring someone with Kelsea’s experience and energy to our team right as many exciting initiatives are taking shape and launching at ATLIS,” said Christina Lewellen, MBA, CAE, ATLIS’s executive director. “The entire ATLIS team is steadfastly focused on our strategic goals designed to serve our community in the coming years, and we’re confident Kelsea will be a significant contributor to our efforts to empower schools to thrive through technology leadership.”

Watson is a graduate of James Madison University and has completed a certificate program in diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace from the University of South Florida. She resides in Virginia with her husband, James, and their husky, Juno.

The Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS) was founded in 2014 as the only national professional association addressing the unique challenges of independent school technology directors.  ATLIS includes more than 200 member schools and more than 1,000 individual members throughout the United States. Serving both the instructional technology and information technology professionals, ATLIS offers programming, community, and resources.
