Undaunted Retreat

The In-Person Retreat in Seattle

We understand that not everyone is comfortable with travel, and some schools may have restrictions on travel for the remainder of the school year. But for those who are able and willing to gather in person, ATLIS is deploying extreme precautions to keep you safe in Seattle.

While the parameters for the in-person retreat may evolve as we get closer to the event, there are a few things to keep in mind if you’re planning to attend:

  • Masks will be mandated at all times in public areas of the hotel. Hand sanitizing stations will be ample.
  • Attendees will be required to undergo health screenings and temperature checks before entering the conference area.
  • Retreat attendees are required to stay in the retreat hotel to limit exposure.
  • Each attendee will be provided an assigned table in the session room as his/her/their own and this table will not change throughout the workshop.
  • All meals will be in smaller, assigned meal pods. The retreat includes two breakfasts, two lunches, one dinner, and all-day beverage service both days.
  • Any attendee who does not comply with the health and safety measures will be asked to leave the retreat.
  • ATLIS has designed a response plan in conjunction with the venue in the event that someone falls ill while onsite.

 The Guarantee

You can register with confidence, knowing that the virtual Annual Conference will take place as planned and the in-person retreat is 100% refundable if we are unable to gather in person. The hotel will allow you to cancel your room without penalty up to 48 hours before your reservation (if canceled within 48 hours, the fee will be equal to one night’s stay), and many airlines continue to offer flexible booking options.

Book your hotel room with the convenient booking portal provided by the Hyatt Regency Seattle. The conference dates are July 24-27, but the group rate is available with the hotel from July 19-July 31st if you would like to extend your trip to add on some vacation time.
